Children's Ministry

We understand that our children are the future of the world and we treat them with care. Children are always welcome. We have many opportunities to help children become engaged and interested while they visit Rossville United Methodist Church.

Cross Training is for children ages 4 through the 5th grade. Cross Training is held during the church service. Children are dismissed to cross training after the Kids Talk time of the service. While the grown ups are upstairs hearing the word of God,the children are downstairs also hearing the word of God on their level. Phyllis Hodgen leads cross training. She takes the same scripture used upstairs and prepares a lesson that relates to the children. They also have a time of music and prayer. When service is over you can pick your child up in the basement in the room painted red and black.

Adventure Club is a weekly Bible-based kids club for children ages 4 years old through 12th grade. Club meets every Tuesday September - November, and February - April. Be sure to check back for specific dates. Each week, the kids will learn more about God and His love as they rotate to different stations like games, crafts, music, snack, and story time.

The Youth Class (junior and senior high students) meets here at our church, and then travels to the R.O.C.K. (the Rossville Brethren Church Youth Annex) for games, snack, and a Bible lesson. The group ends the evening at our church where they perform a skit for the younger kids.

Adventure Club is staffed by nearly 30 adult volunteers who donate their time and energies each week to share the love of Christ with the children of our community. If you would be interested in volunteering with Adventure Club, please contact the church office.
