Education
Rossville Area is blessed with great public schools.
The Rossville Consolidated School District is composed of Clay Township, Carroll County, and Ross and Owen Townships of Clinton County between Lafayette and Kokomo. Rossville is a conservative community with strong family-related values. About 20% of the students at RCSD come from agriculture-related families with other occupational backgrounds as professional, small business owners and some community members commuting to other metropolitan areas for employment. The Rossville community is a growing community, in part due to the outstanding reputation of the school system. Student enrollment patterns suggest continued and gradual growth.
The Rossville Consolidated School District is unique as it is one of the few schools in the State of Indiana which has all grades from kindergarten through the high school located in one complex. The grade configuration for the Rossville school is grades k-5 in the Elementary School, grades 6-8 in the Middle School and grades 9-12 in the High School. With enrollment of just over 1, 100 for all grades, this allows for a great school community with very smooth transitions for students throughout their education at RCSD.
