The Fellowship Feast is sponsored by the Evangelism Committee and offers an opportunity to really get to know the people you sit in the pew with on Sunday mornings. Sure, we smile, shake hands and ask how they are doing, but in many instances we know little about each other. Fellowship Feast is designed to give us the opportunity to share more than just a meal. Breaking bread together is a terrific opportunity to turn acquaintances into friends.

There is not an agenda or structure, we just get together as small groups and enjoy a meal and fellowship. Those who have participated in the past have shared about the fun and fellowship these gatherings have inspired. Those interested in participating let the committee know and then groups are put together with a random drawing. It is really nice to have an opportunity to associate with people you do not ordinarily get to spend time with. Each group consists of about eight people and each family is responsible for organizing one gathering for the group. What that gathering looks like is totally up to you. Others have had meals in their home, met at the park for pizza, had a cook-out, carry in dinner at the church, meet at a restaurant (everyone buys their own), breakfast before church, the list is limited only by your imagination.

The Evangelism Committee will be organizing another session to start this fall.
